| Post subject: | Clutch noise |
I noticed a new noise when I push the clutch in I get a faint scraping sound that goes away as soon as the clutch is released. The clutch appears to be working fine with no crunching of the gears. I suspect the release bearing may be the culprit can anyone confirm this and how long do you think it can hold out?  Is it an engine out job?

Release bearing. Can do in car in an hour or so. Buy a UK bearing, (RHP) the Jap ones are crap.. I got 3 days out of one, world record I reckon.
