Remote box.Does it make a difference if you transpose the selector toggles ?If it does what symptons can I expect ?
I can't change from 3rd to 2nd with the car moving, it really crunches badly.I know its quite probably internal and being my 1st attempt at a gearbox rebuild it wouldn't suprise me if I missed something but I live in hope that its something relativelysimple like this.

not sure if it makes a big difference if you swap the two knuckles around or not, but i do know they need to be spot on as i have had then incorrectly set once and getting some gears was impossible, in the manuel it shows the angles they should be on

Yeah initially I couldn't get 1st or 3rd until I adjusted them a bit.It wasn't until I checked on my old box that I saw they were opposite and the manaul showed the same thing.
