Post subject:  Bringing home an S today :-)
We are bringing home one of the two S's that my inlaws bought recently. Both are trailer jobs as they are stripped. One has been painted a HORRIBLE yellow colour and one is totally original.

The yellow one has no rust, and the bodywork is very decent. It has a weber box that is very well done.

We are going to ditch the yellow in favor of the original Lake Green / Snow White combo, as stated on the ID plate. It has had innocenti flares bolted on too....which HAVE to go :x

Except for the Weber box, this one will be brought back to 99.9% original. We even have 4 original S rims for it :D

I quite like the original S rims.

you can go find a beautifully kept original clubman to whack those innocenti flares on. seems to be all the rage atm. :roll:

p.s. good score - as much as we're all jealous, at least we know minis in your care are going to be well looked after.

Oh well, least I'm not the only one who had a messed up weekend, lets just say my XF Falcon wagon doesn't like gravelly sand.. :D

OK, I know this is off topic but just for the record I really, really, really, REALLY dislike XF Falcons.
