This weeks episode of Thunder Races features 3 minis. The teams have to modify the minis so that they can do reverse wheelies. If you have foxtel and missed this on Saturday night it is repeated tonight (Monday 29/8) at 11.30pm on the discovery channel or tomorrow moring at 08.30. I highly recommend it, although those of you who do not like to see minis mutilated may be a little upset by some of the modifications. |

It was only the green team that went nuts. The other teams kindly left the car in one piece. I thought they were doing alright for an off road race track too. |

Ah well, they've used minis as cannon fodder on Scrapheap Challenge, and as bowling balls, so at least these ones went. And on Monster Garage, they cut up an El Camino SS and a Lincoln Continental with suicide doors, which is a bigger crime. The worst bit is busting out the windscreens and other stuff that just gets thrown away - some people must cringe at that ' cos I'm sure those parts are really expensive in the States. All in the name of entertainment. |
