back wheels

the left one is a straight wheel
where teh north-south line is the car body looking top down, and the wheel can be seen
i need to know if this is how its meant to be
or do the wheels have a slant inwards
such as in the diagram on the right, where looking at the same distance and area, the red line is the wheel slanted in, so it is hidden from this view?

Is this how the wheels are meant to be?
Bent?
or sraight?

What you are refering to with you wheel alignment drawing is "toe-in"
Most cars have a small amount of toe-in on the front wheels
I think that they should be parallel on the rears!

Is it only one side or are both like that?

i thought the back should have a small amount of toe in aswell dunno but i alwaysused to put a little bit on the back of my rc car when i used to race them

im sure the front is straight

and the rears arent parallel
the left is more slanted than the right im sure
so thats why i thought it didnt look right

It can be adjusted a small amount with shims on the outside pivot of the trailing arm, but if it's visible to the extent of your diagram, then it will need to be fixed property. There's a good chance it's down to an impact which has bent the hub mount, and a new (for you) trailing arm & hub will fix it. It did for my Clubman which has been smacked in the arse by another car - the previous owner thought the subframe was bent, and it was slightly, but most of the distortion was in the hub / trailing arm. I had a spare and swapped it out - job done.

It's probably worth taking it to a wheel alignment place to checked over to find out where the distortion is.

Been doing any handbrake turns that 'stopped' suddenly?

A bit of toe in will give you better stability under hard braking, toe out will lead to instant instability. As soon as you hit the picks on a car all the tolerances come into play, the wheels go backwards and try to toe out which gives instability. Mind you Minis are always a bit iffy in the rear under hard brakes as they are so short.
