Has anyone got a photo of a rear sway bar fitted to a mini.
Please if they could point me in the right direction as the instrcutions i got with the sway bar say follow manufacturers instructions, which dont help due to minis not coming out with sway bars originally, i want ot get it right as i have a really good idea on how it fits just not 100%sure on the mounting points at the rear.

any kind of photos would help.

Gidday I've got front and rear sway bars fitted.Did you know that on the rear
there are two different bars-ie rubber susp or hydro susp.
Make sure you got two brackets supplied with your rear bar,which go on
the lower shock absorber mount,this attaches the ends of the bar,with the rubber
bushes and lock nuts.When you bolt these up-you then see where to drill the rear
subframe for the halfmoon shackle clamps and bushes.

ok that helps quite a bit as i always thopught they went around the other way, but hey you learn everyday.
yes i have the dry suspension one that fits onto the eyes of the shock absorbers (unlike your one that has a little bracket that it fits to).
what ill do is get a photo of mine and try and put it up here so you can see, its a whiteline one but i cant remember the part number right off the top of my head.
Any other pics would still help a lot.

This one is a K-MAC bar and it mounts onto a plate attached to the bumpstop mounts on the trailing arm - It must be about 30 years old but still does the trick.

I have a funny feeling that this is going to catch on my exhaust when its installed.

I will have a good look at it on thursday and see how it fits to my car.
It has the same bushes on the ends as both of yours and looks like it fits to the end of the studs for the shock absorbers (dampers) and then onto the sub frame.

Your rear swaybar should be shaped(ie bend)in it so it goes under the muffler
and there should be plenty of room,so it does not touch the muffler.
However,I did break the muffler mounting while driving to Hay this year,and the
muffler dropped onto the swaybar for the intire trip without any damaged.
