rampage101 If you are turboing an 850 I happen to have an 850 LINX head made by Linx for 850 Police station cars just the right thing for getting standard 850 to 55-65 hp. Been crack tested and aok would sell for right price and would be perfect for pushing 850 past the 65 hp mark. I was going to use for sports 850 but haven't got round to it. steve |

Would a 850 crank withstand the torque a turbo could produce? I have heard them reffered to as a bent piece of wire ![]() ![]() |

Steve, I'll email/pm you. fuzzy-hair-man. No idea, probably though, but you only live once, so why not produce a fire breathing scorcher and have some fun along the way, even if it only lasts a little while. I'll have a look, but I think you can fit a better center main strap, not sure yet, gotta get the bloody thing apart. |

![]() ![]() The early ones only had a 1-3/8" tail. Later ones were stronger, had a 1-1/2" one like a 998. Yes the crankwebs are thinner too, but hell they raced them in UK... ![]() |
