hi all,
Ive just been looking at various mini part suppliers in the uk's website and it got me thinking, I have a metro engine in my car, are their anyparts in it that arnt the same as a normal mini motor that if i needed to change, i would have to source actual metro parts? Please excuse my lack of auto knowledge, im kind of like Cole Trickle (tom cruise) in "days of thunder", i know very little about the internal workings, i just know how to drive them BUT i am learning!!!

clutch may be a verto clutch, that was fitted to all a+ motors after 1982 or so, but its easy to spot, the clutch arm is tiny and the master cylinder is on an angle alongthe clutch cover other than that you should be fine

Anonymous moderation means the agro that is built up towards the mods isn't aimed at an individual (fewer "Makk" attacks). Less stress for mods means less moderator "retirements".

yeh for $500-600 id keep it as it is , wat ever u have.

i though all you needed was the australian type clutch cover flywheel clutch and other stuff

Yeah it won't cost that, if you get S/H Oz flywheel, cover & bits, put a new S diaphragm and clutch plate in.

Probs with the Verto setup:
It's f'kin even harder to get off crank than an early one
The setup is way heavier than an early one
Parts over here are harder to get for Verto.

had a look, ive got the verto clutch, but i aint gonna change it till its broke!!
