When replacing the wings on a mini clubman, does the engine have to be removed or can they be replaced with the engine still in?

You probably can do it with the engine still in the bay, but I'd say it would be easier if it wasnt.

I was just asking the question because I thought if I repaired the wings with the engine still in, it will twist the body. But if I could do it with engine still in it will save me a alot of time. But if I have to remove the engine I will.
