sorry abt the huge picture....taken it before i adjust my digi cam to SMALL pixels http://swooh.com/premium/trey/upload/107_0703.JPG 1) how much would it roughly cost to fix it up??? 2) over time will those tiny rust spot actually do lotsa damage to my boot?? 3) or should i just cover a carpet? advise pls... |

makka yeap its only surface rust...so...i should get it fixed up?... is there like a coat of paint/or sumthing? that i could just coat it with? |

yeh makkas right thats some mighty fine paint you got there... doesnt mean a thing now rust is like a sponge. it will soak in water and air, and will rust deeper. it just looks like little surface rust spots and you can stop the problem from getting worse, use rough sand paper to remove most chunky flaky rust and flaking paint buy "Rust Converter" ($17 for 500mL) and give a couple of coats. this will convert the rust to black stuff that will no absorb any more shite, and will give a physical barrier to prevent water getting under. after that, just put carpet over, soft side down to stop more scratches |
