I gotta say it's a pig of a job when you're old... after welding one panel in, I ached all over and so I got my mate to do the other.
Then I turned it 90* on the spit and welded undersides too- that was the easy part.
It all came back to haunt me last Sunday, putting a patch in my son's Clubbie's floor.. ouch!
BTW, taking the steering column out is a real good idea when doing the RH one. Otherwise there's room in there for you or the welding helmet, but not both..
So yeh I gotta MIG, no I don't wanna do any more front floor panels thanks...
