Hi peeps,
apologies if this is not in the right section... i have been browsing this site for a while and think it?s the best thing since well the mini! and thought it about time i become involved. My girlfriend and i have just moved to melbourne from the other side of the country after unfortunately and regrettably selling both my minis (1969 non original mini k + modified 1973 mk 3 south African mini but they both went to good homes). so now, sad to say I am miniless! I have been here only a few weeks and already having withdrawals! We have found a place close to the city so public transport is the go and the plan is to get a car for exploratory road trips along the coast but I am trying to convince my gf that a mini is required as well. My dream car would be the original, original 850 or another mini k but the place we?re in doesn?t have a garage (should have been a prerequisite!)though it does have off street parking. (didn?t know I was going to miss my dads garage and tools so much!) I will just have to become involved with some like minded miniacs over here for I am sure to need some advice.

Keep up the good work

Matt (aka desperately seeking mini)
