Just got my new addition, wow its taken a while but finally got it, its a 1976 Mini Clubman, in Scarlet Ohara with Cream trim, its mint condition, with all original book work and miles recorded, still has original carpet and all,, very original car genuine grannies car, 2 owners both neigbours, one died and past it over fence.....Awesome car cant beleave I own a clubby and so excited about it................

Now bad news when 2nd owner died, my mate from work sold it (I was overseas still) he was the next neighbour in line, got past on too look after it, he sold too 17yr old Boy, and think you know where this story is going, well he's on his P's and crusing along sees a a few girls and one has large lungs and WAM.......... straight into a Ute, front end squashed in, gets the idea to chop front and put on Fibreglass Guards and front panels, and now looks ok, but decides to sell it, no happy with it, I come along and take it off his hands, I know the car and think what a waste

Problem.. How much work on getting new inner and outter guards replaced this car is clean and tidy great for concourse, but front lets it down, i dont wanna show it but cant let it live on with plastic front????????

HELP ON THIS ONE PLEASE

I'll get some pictures up soon, also it still has steel inner guards but some damage, the fibreglass front end is a good neat job, but has a few faults, whats it worth you think

Jam I already was (lol) narh but thanks for the welcome, Ive wanted a clubby for a while my goal is to get a GT, I let one go in UK was Mint Original cond one for ?2500, but theres rules one how many cars you can bring back, so you choose your best, anyway, this is a good clubby and im keen on getting it registered wont be a shower but want it looking good.

JAM is a bloody good clubby and if it gets half as good Ill be happy

Huys Im after a set of S flares for it, wanna make it look better then those cheap and nasty black arches the 18 year old put on

Thanks Monaro

Best of luck with your clubby. Are you just planning on just making it look pretty or are you planning on doing some crazy engine mods like a starlet GT or something

Gidday-Monaro.With your S flares. The Clubman flares are longer on the front than round nose S flares. You need to find Clubman flares.
Cheers.

Bloody tin front for sure.
Hate fibreglass fronts with a passion.
They never fit right

Oh I hate the glass front too, but it will have to stay for a while as theres no time before blue slipping it to change it over
