Nya ideas on ways to make a cold air induction on a Mini.

I was just thinking of running a Flexi hose bout 1-2 Inches in diameter from under the front of the car up to the Air cleaner.

Not to sure what eles I can do.

I have heard of people making up a bent pipe that goes onto the Card (SU) and sits around in front of the Motor on the Clutch housing side.

I didn't think you had `cold air' up in Qld.. :P

Your idea is OK but use 3" heater ducting or similar, thet's what a lot of race cars do. But they don't attach it to the carb- just take the air up to near it (ramtube or sports filter).

:P what a great idea! Cold air intake.. sounds impressive too
I thinks there's a section in David Vizards MTMYM on ram air intake, would prolly mean cutting a hole in the bonnet and a scoop but

Thats the main reason why i want to do it. To try and get cooler air into that area istead of the warm air from around the engine and strags.
