Just wondering what is a fair price for a running 1275 (probably suit rebuild) on box.

So is J_A_M getting 1300 Power?

I'd pay 6-700 for a complete, running, 'okay' condition motor and box. :wink:

Luckily i just went out and bought a 1275 car to start, so i wouldn't know what a motor usually goes for... :?

Anton;
Here's a 1275 on ebay with bidding currently at $500, and it looks like they will even throw one of those slab sided Leyland thingies in for free! :wink:

Hi,
I had a 1100S complete motor for sale six months ago in Nth Queensland requiring rebuild for $600.00 and had no callers. The motor had just had the crank reground and had AEG521 conrods just needed honing pistons rings and bearings. I think it just depends on the market at the time.
Thanks
