Take a look at how the seat belt is mounted, it is a very good example of how NOT to mount a harness.
If he has any decent sort of front on crash he could compress his spine.
If he has a side on crash he could slip between the belts and fall out.

I hope the rest of the car is better engineered then the belts! 8)

not to mention where the surfboard would end up if he hit another car.... somehow I don't think he cares that much

there's a whole lot of engine poking out from under that inner guard
