![]() What is a reasonable price for a 22G1128 4 synchro remote MiniK/Clubman type gear box case complete with original diff housing? Not Morris 1100 type. With or without internals. Internal condition unimportant as long as case is complete and undamaged. IE not cracked or with worn bearing holes etc. The odd missing fin is OK. RonR |

If i were you I'd try to get the whole box, diff cover, remote arm and connections. Some of those arms and connections are NLA new and are a pain in the ass to find. I paid a special price for my casing so I wouldn't have a clue how much... Don't bother about internals... just strip it from a 4 synchro rod change instead. Anyway I would be putting in a brand new gb bearing kit and a layshaft at the minimum. All i am saying is if someone is selling a whole box inc gears for a rediculous price, then just ask for the casing and connections, he can keep the gears! ![]() [Edit] the remote arm rubber dust shield cost me $36 alone!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Based on what I've bought in the last couple of years, I'd say $50-$75 for a bare case, or $100- $150 for a complete Mini-K box that needs rebuild. Dealers would charge more. Mk2 S box complete worth more than a K due to output shafts & flanges etc. |

![]() I just need the case. Found out my leaking sump plug turned out to be a hair line crack along the sump plug thread. Bummer! RonR |

My son's Clubby has a crookedly fitted helicoil insert in the sump plug hole... the copper gasket won't seal. ![]() I just put a smear of Loctite 515 `Master Gasket' on the plug thread now before screwing it in. Doesn't leak a drop, and still undoes OK. ![]() |
