Yep
so i have driven it everyday this week
after hardly driving it at all since february
and i have found something
IF
i drive 'normal'
eg- speed limit, normally i find it real hard to stick to these in the mini, especially as it is middle of nowhere,
anyways
the mini will not overheat,
when the go button is pressed flat for 90% of the journey - this is when it will overheat and boil.
it still wont idle, but its getting better at going in the mornings
i missed driving the mini :(
and now i enjoy it again so much,
i dunno how much life its got left,
id like to find out,
have a look at the inner workings of the engine and gearbox and so on, and see
how much more its got left.
cause i was real mean to the car, it cops a belting
but
it just keeps going and going and going
it will throw the towel in oneday wont it?

for now

its a pleasure of a car to drive, feels every bump, is highly noisy, smells like an old car, goes super nice on the road
and you can take off full throttle at the lights, cause the wheels wont spin :P  :) and demonstrate the super pro take off skills of the mini, and piss people off, such as magna drivers and falcon drivers today  fun stuff
VROOOM :!:
super noise that

oh and its used over a pint of oil in the 3 days  well actually it was this morning it was about half a pints worth under the min mark. It almost chews through the oil as bad as the fuel,

which is back to normal, the 28-30 mpg for now.
good mini Image :!: 8)
