Well i am back from a week off work, and man has it been sweet. unfortunately it means I have missed everything on here except how scott misread his airline tix :D:D:D:D then i got to give his crap about it :P

anyway, over the past week i have spotted (not including events) many minis, I also discovered that it was not a good idea to take the mini on holidays (im glad i didnt) as we did 400kms of driving before we saw a servo. and since i can get probably 300 at the most from a full tank of ultimate..and considering ULP was $1.40 in lorne, well im glad we took the missuses car.

I also found a fun fun mini road, it is a logging track though...which could get hairy... its long and windy and dirty and muddy and drives right through the middle of the otway state park which means its got some lovely scenery too. it also means that the farthest you can see is about 50 meters, its pretty thickly wooded. which is good. and yeah theres heaps of long windy roads...good fun

then i came home and there have been 2 local mini events which were both good. washed and polished the mini for the run, was great!

well see you guys around i may go to bed shortly...if i can get google earth to work :S

all along the coast line there is great for minis but as you said there are not many servos, i think i know the road in the otway park u were talking about, if its the one im thinkin of it would be awsome for a mini as u say

We took the 4 wheel drive through a track in the Otways called "Gentle Annies Jeep Track" and there's no way a Mini could do that track unless it had bloody big wheels - but there was another one that was dirt and gravel and the Minis could have a lot of fun with. Starts at Distillery Creek Picnic area and finishes at the Lorne-???? road. Hmmm.........the possibilities with a cruz.
