Post subject:  What to do

So i'm stripping my mini.
Of everything.
And keeping it
Nothing is for sale yet.

I'll have a bare, bent shell at the end.
I'm sure nobody wants it, so off come the plates and its down to SIMS metal.
For my $15.
Sweet.

Now what to do with all the other stuff.

Should i find a shell (bloody hard, i know),
Or hold off while i drive round a temporary mini.
And do the rover project i have touched on, on a few occasions here.

I dont know!

Just hold off till you see something worth having, not just jump into the first thing that becomes available.

Go with a project car. Build it the way you want, not how someone else did it and now you have to fix.

knowing u william, u'll get amped up and go for something and no-one will be able to tell u any different but then u'll lose heart and the shell will stay half done.

for your own less stress benefit and better driving pleasure i'd say go the rover. they're all that a mini should be.. roundnosed

Nah no way.
Bugger that idea.
THen how will i ever build up my own collection of used parts?
Exactly.

Even still, most Leyland stuff isn't changeable to Rover stuff, but where there's a Will, there's a way. 8)

Thanks Adelaide guys... seems that you're the best. :)

I wouldn't go the Rover, buy a complete car and use your spare parts to make it better.

I reckon you could pull yours back out, it didn't look that bad. I've seen worse things saved...

Anything can be fixed, no doubt about it. The problem is it gets to the stage where it costs more to fix then it's worth :?
I'd just either reshell or grab another one and do it up.
