Well I'm not a girl (last time I checked anyway) but I do have some knowledge here after living with a couple of girls and going out with two models.

Unit was on the right track in the other thread. You have to have something they want (and I'm not talking about a mini :P .) wether it be physically or emotionally.

Fact #1: Good looking girls get 'hit on' or asked out all the time. Like Unit was saying "Usually works when you are not trying."......why?.....because it shows confidence and it becomes a challenge to get you. Just think: A girl goes around getting hit on all the time then someone comes along who only gives a little attention/interest before walking off. This automatically triggers an interest in you giving them something to think about.

Fact #2: Girls don't get attracted to emotionally clingy guys. This is actually a turn-off. Girls like emotionally independent guys. This shows if you have dreams/goals/determination to do something with your life. Guys that can teach them a thing or two about life and get them to experience new things. This rule co-insides with the "nice guys finish last rule". Things like unpredictability and excitement is what girls are after..........maybe the mini could help you there

Fact #3: whatever you do. Don't use cheesy pick-up lines. They don't work (exept out of sheer pity, maybe).

Hope this helps in some way. :D

It's a good idea if you do it right. Whatever you do, don't right anything sappy or wussy in the card :!: The last thing you want is asking her out and getting the response "...but I think of you as my big sister." At the same time you don't want to insult her. A slap across the face can be embarressing in a shop   Try and find a good in between. Something cheeky that will get her thinking......why?.......Think about it. If you hand a girl a card and she says "awwww...how sweet" she will think it is nice, put it down and get on with her day not thinking about it (only works a treat when in a relationship).
But, if you hand her a card and walk out of the store. If you look back and she is laughing (with you ,not at you), slightly confused, still reading the card or something along those lines, then you are on the right track. Show that you are not afraid to speak what you feel. If you try and say something in a way that you think she wants to hear it, she will pick up on this in an instant and be immidiatly turned off....trust me.
If she is thinking about that card and you all afternoon, she will ask herself "Why am I thinking about this person."..... .....instant attraction. 8)

As Arnorld Shwarzasomething would say: "Don't be a girly-man."

That applies right through dealing with girls.

Im only 19 and I find being straightforward and confident works best for me (look her in the eyes when making conversation, straight back, dont fidget etc.) Be straightforward and ask if she is single. just my two cents.

Also, if you want to bring a gift to a date, don't get flowers, get one of those single wrapped $5 chocolates from darryl lea or something.

True! Or if you came straight from the beach you could walk in only wearing 'speados' Just remember, if you're going to do the old "potateo down the speado" trick. Put it in the FRONT....not the back

OK I am definetly going into the shop tommorow night (otherwise it's another whole week of worrying :? :?) Sorry Cush but I think I will leave the card thing out as it may freak her out ( I think I would get freaked if a girl came up to me at work and gave me a card).

I think tommorow night I will just try to chat to her (I think the worst part apart from the asking out is that behind the counter is a platform so they kind of look down at you and also there is normally 2 girls working so the other one will just be standing there).

Has anyone got any last minute tips/ ideas/helpful comments, and anything to help me psych myself up and so I don't get embaressed    .

MiniGTi :D  :? :D
