Hi, A colleague is doing up a Morris 1100 S. It needs a number of rust repair panels eg: sills, rubbers and other 1100 specific parts. Anyone know of some good sources? Cheers, |

Rare Spares and Scotts Old Auto Rubber have most of the rubbers. I don't know about replacement panels, maybe Mini Clinic (or whatever they are called now) at Revesby would know. Sills and things are available in England. ![]() I have a small stash of parts, what do you need? |

I bought an 1100S once, sight unseen, that was way too good to wreck. So I swapped it for a Moke, and the 1100S is now back on the road. The most pressing need right now is for two new sills and some floor sections. He'd also like an MG/Riley type dash with round smiths gauges. I know that will be hard to find!! ![]() |

I have been thinking lately if an 1100 would not be the ultimate sleeper with something potent in it. I won't be doing it, but it would be a real buzz I reckon. They were a really nice comfortable car to ride in, far more civilised than a mini. |

I have a complete Morris 1100 parked in My Paddock it has some good panels on it but it is in Brizzy. Anything off that is free to a good home if you come and remove it yourself. |

![]() I just had a thought ![]() There was a bloke selling a sill on ebay a while ago, he is still trying to sell it on his website http://www.abouttimespares.com.au/Austin%201100%201300%201500.html For the dash, take a look at Trademe NZ. The late Morris/Austin 1300 has the dash he is after. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/index.htm He might find one over there. |

Yep, plenty of room for a Starlet engine I reckon, and the shells cost pennies minus engine, and they only weigh 800kg(?). I miss the ride of my 1100S. ![]() Thanks for all the help guys, I am passing on the links. Keep the ideas coming! Maybe I can convince Gary to join the forum! ![]() |

![]() ![]() I reckon they are a great car. As far as parts goes I have talked to Classic motoring here in Canberra and they can get 2nd hand bits but like you have it is probably easier and cheaper to find a parts car. ![]() I now have my 2nd 1100S and this ones got a motor ![]() ![]() |
