ok guys.. need some help
my extractors are leaking like a seive (theyre almost new)
i refuse to go back to the mini guy that fitted them and i figure i can do a better job.. cant be any worse.. (my engine bay is full of smoke)
i pulled the bugger down today and they are really loose in the joints.. i have some dynagrip exhaust sealant and was wondering if that is what your supposed to use (all exhausts ive played with are braised or clamped)
the other thing i need to know.. is there something else i can use for a manifold gasket without using a manifold gasket (i cant wait till monday i need my car tommorrow arvo) how hot does a exhaust manifold joint get (i have some copper gasket maker thats good for 316 degrees celcius)
these things werent braised or glued or clamped... just shoved on.. in the pic you can also see where they are fouling on the uni joint (stuffing my new ones up too) so i smacked them in (less performance huh? haha
