Post subject: | Clicking sound |
My mini has developed a clicking sound which only happens in reverse. The sound increases and decreases with speed. l dont think it is the outer cvs it does not happen under full turning lock in both directions when driving forward. The cvs were overhauld about 3 years ago.l think it may be the brake pads moving in the calipers. Any suggestions ? |

Yes, the clicking is the speedo cable screaming "grease me" If you ignore it, it will scream louder until it just gives up & breaks ![]() |

If you ignore it, it will scream louder until it just gives up & breaks ![]() ........ but breaks usually means no clicking. ![]() |
