Post subject:  Question about discs please

So got some discs and it seems as though the swivel hub is rubbing
against the rotor and its not turning properly/ at all

any ideas at all??

I'm guessing 7.5s with 8.4 uprights.

All disc swivel hubs (except metro) are basically the same..
Depends who made the rotors. Some aftermarket 7.5" ones are known to rub on the outer part of hubs, others do not.
Just machine a little bit off the outside diameter of the hub, near the end. Some hubs have this done already. :wink:

7.5 hubs are slighty different to the 8.4 hubs at the end just grind it away abit to fit the disc on

Yes it's the last 5mm usually. Won't need much off at all. Put some chalk or paint on it there, fit disc onto CV and spin it. 1mm probably is all it will need off. :wink:

ok, so i dnt have a lathe or whatever is needed to do this...how can
i fix this problem at home? Ive been out to GR's but he was closed.

Any ideas? this really needs to be done this weekend
