Big wheel Moke drums are 3/4" wider, Cooper S Or Clubby S ones are 1"... as I found when I bought a Moke one by mistake once.

how much do stepped drums offset your wheels? Do you need longer wheel studs or is there a different flange? Do clubman flanges (rear to suit stepped drums) fit a roundnose? thanks |

They don't offset your wheels, they increase your track by the width of the step on each drum. If I recall correctly, the Cooper 'S' ones are about 3/4" on each drum so that makes the track 1.5" wider. 2.Yes - longer studs, they fit into the standard hub flange. 3. Yes. |

it's an easy job to change them over, did it myself with just a BFH and some screwdrivers. |

I got moke ones and only found out their 1/4" smaller after I got them machined and linnings to suit and to make it worse it would of been cheaper to buy new cooper S ones and linnings 
Doc do you reckon the moke ones will be ok as the front will have drooper S brakes? |

Depends what wheels you use at front. S steel wheels will foul. LS offset Contessas will foul.
Mini offset Contessas, Hotwires, or Jellybeans will clear.

hey ive got 2 sets of 1" steped drums, came on the clubby that i stripped, was stoked when i saw them, 1 pair going on the rear of the van! |
