I always maintain that content is more important than presentation, but the background image on your bullshit page makes the text really hard to read. You may want to look into CSS to pretty it up though. Google for "css tutorial". Oh, and if you start using CSS, don't forget to test them out in Mozilla/Firfox. Not every one uses Microsoft junk, and MS doesn't believe in following web standards. But yeah, my main point would have to be: spend more time writing the content than prettying things up (javascript menus etc.). Any idiot can and does make a web page. Not many have the mini knowledge you have ![]() |

can i suggest the images as thumbnails to start with, and then clicking to open up a larger one. but make sure you shrink and save the image as a seperate, otherwise the loading time will still be the same, and frames are great for navigation. ![]() |

Not really most sites with frames you see are still poorly implemented. CSS is really the way to go if you can be bothered learning it. But as Zizzle said content is most important. Useability is very important e.g. Navigation in the same place on all pages don't use similar colours for background & links/ text. The first thing i'd do is have navigation at the top or side then carry it through so you know > Where to go > Where you are > Where you've been |

frames are easy once you learn....i only suggested them becuse i thought it would make navigation easier, but if you have the same structure on each page with a nav bar on top or on the side then it will do the same thing.... ![]() |

Personally I hate frames & i cringe when I come to a site with them, most of the biggest sites aruond do not use frames e.g. WIKIPEDIA this is a site all about content no frames http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mini Sites like amazon, msn even minispares, frames are becoming less & less common (thank god) |
