I remember a red one in Mini World a few years ago. Had 2 accel pedals, which was kewl, you could demand over steer or under steer whenever you pleased! I also read somewhere that John Cooper almost killed himself testing a twin engined racer back in the day. |

Yes, it was very quick & showed promise but they canned the idea after that crash. They made several prototype twin engined 4wd Mokes too but with 10" wheels they were never successful off-road ![]() |

There is one twin engined Moke in Australia, a genuine Leyland build, I've been trying to get details of it's whereabouts for a few weeks now, it was shipped into the country late 2003 by the then owner of TWR Australia, Mr Tom Walkinshaw. it is belived to be somewhere down on the Mornington peninsula, I know more soon. |

Do you have more pictures. Yep it's got 2 1275s in, they are mildly worked 1100s ones while he sorts the handling. Sorry no have more pics of it. PM TheMiniMan (Matt Read), he may have more pics of it from Speed on Tweed this year.. ![]() |

That black one is thw "Twini Mini" from either issue one or two of the Mini Experience magazine - Can't remember which one. If I remember correctly, Freddy Sayers (who built my Limo Diff) had a fair bit to do with the build of it. There is a twin engine 1/4 mile car in UK Mini Magazine at the moment too. ![]() |

This particular twin engine Black Mini I believe was built by Bill Westerman and Fred Seyers in Brisbane, I have seen it. It was also at the Brisbane Mini Muster on show the year before. It is a great piece of machinery an lots of great thoughts went into it. (Besides all the Beer and Rum consumed in the process.) |

Why the interest in the Twini Mini? I am in the process of building one. Cooper S look alike with two 1100 engines. |

Cooper S look alike with two 1100 engines. I dont suppose you bought the shell from Blair Athol auto parts? There's been one sitting down there for years....apparently more beer went into it than engineering, and it had some major handling issues....they just bought it so that they could sell the two 1275 engines...... |
