You should be able to pop the arm off from the cog bit it sits on and move it around until it sits where it should,
or are you asking about something different

My windscreen wipers have just started to play up. They park on the windscreen rubber(seal) on the drivers side put they hit the rubber on the other side(passenger) when I use them. Is there an adjustment on the wiper motor or is every thing just worn out? There is a little bit of movement in the wheel box and I was thinking of buying new ones of these, are they easy or a pain to put in? Pete |

The wiper rack and the wheel boxes are worn. It is possible to withdraw the rack and rotate the wheel boxes 180 so they run on the unworn portion. The rack I am not sure about. It is most probably best to buy a new one. Wear also happens in the wiper motor on the pin and gear. Try fixing the rack and boxes and if that is not sufficient have a look at renewing the gear in the wiper motor. It is no good using 2nd hand parts you must use new ones. IIRC Jill did this, she is the expert. |

If the wiper hits the rubber on both sides, either the wheelboxes are worn or someone has mated a late (eg Clubby) round motor with an early rack. On Barney the wipers sweep 180* `coz the PO did this...
