There is a review going on about vehicle standards and this link might help those thinking about wanting to change bits on there cars

Went straight to the engine substitution section. Seems pretty much the same as currently rules in QLD.

Agreed it will be better when all states are the same, the engine replacement for later models couldcause a few headaches though especially for those going for Rover motors as it seems that they are going to make people prove engine age and make it have to comply with the ADRs of the engine year not the bodies age. may have to go through emissions testing before approval is granted
