hey fellas, hit a progress brick wall today,

ive got the wiper motor loose from the firewall, but how do i get the wiper arm control thing from inside the engine bay at the top of the firewall???

ive got the wiper arms off, and there is a nut behind wiper (behind the bonnet infront of the widnscreen) that i tryed to undo but the entire nut and thread move together, been looking at all my leyland and morris books but none have a detailed description,

any help in this regard would be awsum....as i am lost with this one!

blake

Apart from Lots of WD40 and let it soak to loosen off, I can only suggest pushing the wheel box upwards from underneith so that the nut is not jamming while you turn it. you prolly have tried that alrady.

Good luck

Cut nuts carefully on 1 side with an angle grinder. You can buy new chrome nuts. 2 types- 6 sided (early) & 8 sided (late). But threads same I think..
