hey lads, just trying to find out what cam i pulled out of the 1132.... there are no numbers on the cam at all, but it does have 2 machined bands in it at one end, can anyone ID that cam? any rules about can ID for future references??? cheers and thank heeps, blake ![]() |

If 3/8" lobes it's just 1100 cam. 5/45-51-21. 12G165 or AEA630. According to Mr Vizard... Of course it may have been reground since... could be anything now really. ![]() ![]() |

Usually re ground Cams have a number stamped on the threaded end. Different Cam grinders have different Cam grind numbers. Unless you know who exactly ground it , you cannot find out what profiles it has till you put it in a machine and measure Lobe lifts and duration etc. |

It's usually obvious if stock & never been reground- standard smallbore cams have pointy lobes and a lot of metal on the base circle (the round part) of the lobe. Nice for regrinding.... ![]() If you don't know what it is just get Russell Engineering (or whoever) to regrind it to a good known profile..... ![]() |
