You can get 165-70-10 tyres for it (20mm wider) IF your rims are 4.5 inches wide. I can't tell from the photos what size your wheels are, maybe someone else will.

They will rub on your shock absorbers as well unless you have put a small spacer onto your standard unspaced drums. If you put on the 1 inch widened drums Cooper Ss and GTs, you will then need flares.

Gee whizz I cannot believe you brought that Mini for such little money....

BTW I love those mags on the white Mini..

Wish I could find a set a mags like that...

You still may have to swap the drums (I'm guessing it's drums all round on both cars?) over when you take the wheels as they may have the 1" spacers.

This will also mean adjusting the pads back up as well I guess.

1100 motor will be less tiring to drive in hilly country, it has a lot more torque than a 998. A few more HP too. :wink:
