.... i let the wife have a drive....

my god that was funny....

i should've thrown in some coffee beans, with all the grinding that was going on...

the amount of times she stuck it in neutral and rev'd it

she even gave it a huge gearbox-full of crunches....driving past the previous owner.... you should've seen him turn around....

she got the hang of it though.. and it wasn't so scary... in the end...

car - *Crunch*
me - hahahaha
her - shut up
me - hahah
car - *Crunch* *Crunch* *Rev*
me - HAHAHA
her - stupid car

Ha! yeah, i know the feeling. I used to let people drive my old 850 van, when it still had the ol' 3-synchro box in it. **Crunch** **Gruanch** "Stupid car!" **Crunch** And hey, whats the point in having teeth if ya don't brush 'em?

Oh well, it soon had its go-fast 998 in it anyway :D

I don't let many people drive the LS... More of a fear of a dead Mini than crunching the 'box...

Definately not letting you drive the LS, Mr Cushway, after the way ya drove me ol' red banger.

it's pure sex.... it even has a passenger seat now..

it's running soooo smoothly now....engine and suspension... the third gear synchro is the only drama mechanically... well... excluding the brakes... well... brake

but even that should be sorted soon-ish with the twin cylinder drums off the engine in the shed... just gotta find the time...

went on a treasure hunt at Brickworx today and got myself a new chrome latch for one of me bits of sliding glass (no more wind in the back of the head after braking  )

got myself the classiest wooden gear nob with a slick BMC logo on it (matches me dash 'n all)

and i found a bunch of other stuff that's stopped a whole heap of rattles (and *BAM!*'S) now i can hear heaps more smaller more irritating rattles..

i've taken the exhaust off tho.... it was a bit ricey... dont you think?

I let my brother (who fancies himself as a 'Driver') drive my 850 round the block, with me in the back and my son Sean (2) in his child seat in the front. Everytime my brother crunched the gears (every time he changed gears in fact), Sean shouted "CRASH!"
