See here for the results of the recent Sydney one at MRC Castle Hill.
It's a Dyno Dynamics, running in Shootout mode..

thats low for a 1310. I say no two dyno's return the same result.......so don't worry too much.

Take it to a RICER dyno....you will put out 100 @ the wheels!

Scotts Dyno at Newcastle.
We didnt take it there to get the optimum output, he was there to be tuned.

the main point of a dyno is for tuning. You can do a power run, establish a 'baseline' and see if you can find more power by tuning things. if you want to compare power outputs with other people, the problem is that different dynos can give wildly different readings - making proper comparison impossible.

If you want to compare figures, you need to find a 'Shootout' dyno.
there's a list of them at http://www.dyno.com.au/near.htm

if he wasn't couging and farting like crazy, then there's something wrong with that result. My 1310 with twin 1 1/4"s on the dyno day got 44.9 on the first go, and wouldn't go over about 4500rpm without breaking down really badly, the dyno guy gave up - most people who were there should remember. I fixed the plug and points gap and it got 51.9 on a second run, still the lowest of the cars that were running properly...

Mine pulled 63hp (46.9kw) with 85.7Nm recently on the dyno at Beninca Automotive in Surrey Hills (vic). 8)
