Question for you - some of you may know that Dylan folded the front of his clubby last weekend. We are thinking now of a fibreglass flip-front.

Does any one on this forum have one on their car???

Do you have to get an engineers certificate???

Cheers all

Can you stop making up crap about glass flip front weighing more than steel, ive herd it all before on a post.
That is total rubbish. Ive got a glass front on my race car. And am building a show car with a glass front and it weighs a crap load less. So whoever told you about it weighing more. That is bull. and maby you should put it on the scales that is if you have one on your car, which i assume you dont. Am i right?

Here we go.. another crap post from Mr wally.

the reason a GOOD fibreglass front weighs more is cause it needs to be thicker to give it strenth.. so over all it weighs more...

been told by MANY people...

Deal with...

Go take some more parts of ya ex's car

Listen my glass panels are very much ridged, and weighs much less than your steel ones so unless you have A: weighed both or B: have a glass front on your car. Then shut the F14K Up, He is after use full info. Go flip it mate.

Oh and that was really smart, how about you quit wanking over minis and get a GF.

On a road car, glass fronts aren't much chop. The never fit properly, and they usually warp and crack the paint. On a race car, it's a different beast, you can run a thinish thickness as looks isn't of the upmost importance. A race car is good from far, but far from good!

I'd get some rover front panels and either weld them on, or make a steel flip front.

edit/ clubmn, isn't your "racecar" a bug eye sprite?

Im building a glass front show car (mini), with my mate, anyone that can fault the fitment of the glass front can have the car, it fits nicer than the steel ones if thats possible.

As for the race car it is a bugeye, But what point are u making poeee or what differance does it make, Still has a glass front, and was lighter than the steel unit, that came off.

Oh and racing king, good one GT. I think you need to come up with better than that.
