Post subject: | Rover body wheel arch size - Rear Cut - and trailer Q's |
Are the wheel arches on a Rover mini the same size as a Morris despite the fact they run 12" wheels? Anyone able to give me an idea of what a Rover rear cut would be worth without the fuel tank and sub-frame? I have uncovered one for sale and am considering making a trailer out of it similar to another one I have seen an ausmini member with. Anyone got any suggestions about how hard such a job would be? Regards, Andy. |

A 12" Rover will have the same wheel arches as an Aussie Mini. (unless i'm VERY MUCH mistaken!) |

i'd assume they are... you don't cut body work with most 12's and so the bodywork the flares attach to is the same... |

Keep us posted with your trailer, I'd love to build one and a 'how to' would be tops. I reckon trailer electrics are nearly as dodgy as mini electrics, sos they're a good subject car to make a trailer out of. |
