Anyone heard of doing it? this could be a really cheap way of getting some awsome wheels for minis? Look like 4on4 bolt pattern same as mini. 4 wheels for $275us. check the link: http://www.golfcarttirestore.com/chrome%20wheels.htm |

you'd need to find out what speed they're capable of... they may only be suitable for put-putting around the golf course |

Do you reclon they'd be rated to drive on the road? Australian Standards? What do you reckon insurance would so if they looked at these wheels after a prang? I recon they'd nail you to a post upside down. |

doubt if they'd be very legal on a car... but golf carts are registerable on hamilton island, and heaps of the locals have very bling wheels on theirs, along with some cool number plates - there was one with BUGGY, but I missed taking a photo |

I've heard of people getting 10" forklift TYRES and hand cutting them into rally tyres, but this is a whole new thing. I doubt they'd have the strength required for car use - golf carts aren't exactly heavy or fast ![]() |
