I'm a large gentleman (with a lot to offer:roll: ) and ive been meaning to find out for a while.... even tho, my current seat seem to hold me in quite well.. as per my recent experience with bucket seat shopping i've found that in general cobra make their seats in 2 sizes...the first size is a perfect fit in a mini but is too narrow for one's arse to fit comfortably...the 2nd is a perfect fit for one's arse but too wide for the mini (unless you wanna stagger them)... the classic has a 270mm saddle...i have a 34" waist (circumference not diameter ![]() |

the outside of the seat or from the inside of the padding? inside of the padding...they are 490 on the outside...pretty sure there's no GT version of the classic though... i was pretty disappointed with the not-so-ample dimensions of the seats cobra make...i more or less had my heart set on either the suzuka or the imola as they both look fab...are FIA approved...and are narrow enough to fit side-by-side in a mini...alas...my arse is too big apparently ![]() i am pretty sure that even if my butt would fit in a classic it would be bloody tight and certainly FAR from comfortable...i have actually changed my preference to Sparco Sprint's for seats...they have a much larger bucket for yer arse and dont look too shabby...as well they are only about $500 instead of $800+ for the better cobra ones...they are FIA approved too ![]() |

![]() yeah i was shocked with the imola 2 that is 340mm (on the inside) at the bucket...i dont consider my arse oversized and i could barely squeeze into it...sure as HELL wasnt comfortable for more than a few seconds ![]() |

I've got the Cobra Cub (identical to the Speedwel seat) and I'm size 36. Its probably better than the classic as its more open on the sides - but I wouldnt mind it being a few inches wider as the metal ribs arent tender to my ass at times. |
