Post subject: | Epping Road, Lane Cove Tunnel and Simon (simple) |
There was a bit of a mishap today on Sydney's roads. Construction on the Lane Cove Tunnel caused the ground to collapse. There is currently a 14m x 14m hole inthe middle of a 6 lane main road!! I have a feeling Simon (user: simple) is involved in this project. Is this correct.....Simon??? This is a photo of the closest building to the hole..... ![]() It's just about to be gobbled up I reckon!! ![]() |

I hoping that they leave the hole in there, might end up being a good way of avoiding the toll! ![]() |

If the building falls down into the Lane Cove Tunnel, will it have to pay the toll??? ![]() ![]() |

yeh what a shocker. They gave the residents $200 and said go to target and get some cloths you will be needing them as the building is gone ![]() 8 million dollars is the estimate on that building, guess the tolls will go right away hey, cant have the people responsible for it paying, pass the buck to us as usuall. |

Yeah Yeah Yeah..... Have your fun.... ![]() I swear I didn't touch that tunneling machine. ![]() The company I work for is not involved in the construction of the tunnel. So it is all sweet. I personally don't know much about what happened and the cause, or even how they are trying to fix the problem. All I know is that I am leaving Lane Cove before peak hour hits. I believe there are still closures in place. Take care and see you tomorrow. |
