i am having a slight problem with my avatar and am hoping somebody can help me fix it. As you can see if you look to left my username, also resembles my name funny that, is at the top then under that is my beautiful project which looks nothing like that anymore, but thats not the problem. The problem is in between my name and my photo, L Plates???????. i am not, and havent been on L's for a few years now, in fact i was on P's long before i even joined this site. How this got there i have no idea but i also have no idea how to change it. i went to profile but cant see where to change this. So if anyone can help it would be appreciated, if not then i guess i'll just have to remain on my L's forever ( damn that would suck) anyway enough rambling. Cheers Mick |

It is related to the number of posts that you have made, I believe that when you pass 100 it will change. |

It is part of the forum ranking system. the newer members are on "L plates" then graduate up through the engine sizes of the A-Series engines based on how many posts they make in the forums. You'll also notice that there are 4 geyed out mini badges there as well - these change to being full badges as your post count climbs as well. just another indicator for other members of the forum to determine how active you are around here and therfore your experience with the forum environmnet [not nessassarily experienced with minis LOL] Welcome along, Ask questions, make comments and add discussion in other topics and you'll soon be off your L's Cheers Dat |

Thanks for clearin that up makes sense i spose, only took me what 4 months to realise ( im quick  ) im comin up to 4 months of holidays so i guess i'll be workin on the mini a lot and will therefore be askin lots of stupid questions so i guess i'll pass me drivin test soon enough lol.

its 100 actually...i made 848cc in the first 3 days i think  was just sitting here commenting on everything so i could get rid of the L Plates thing...now i am in the mid-200's...500 is 998cc...so...i am not gonna make a dash for that till i get to around the 450 mark

many people spam to get up their post count, and get off L plates. I did. In fact, i dont think i have stopped spamming since i joined...

adeee was spamming before he/she joined...then stopped...then joined...then started spamming again??? i love the way you think man! took me a while to see that
