VICROADS have obviously checked the copyright implications of using an old Mini advert...

She is nice looking....the Mini I mean...I mean the car (damn it  )

As of the 24th of October, Vic has changed the rules (and prices  ) of their custom plates.

My POEEE plates are now $395, instead of the old $310. BUT... you can now get NUMBERS within LETTERS (for $495)! It used to be numbers then letters, no buts.

You may have seen "COOP3R" plates for sale on ebay for $999 (100% profit).

Don't think you can get "M1N1" or M1NI", they are gone, i've already tried!!!

And haven't they been fleecing motorists for years.

The unbelievably cheap to produce. Proof is that for less than 100 bucks you can get any plate you want in the NT. Up to six letters or numbers.

It is a once off fee as well.

We have to pay a rediculous amount per year in nsw... I'd never do it cause I hate the RTA and don't want to give them money, unnecessarily.

Edit: just found out nsw plates are once off $30, then $470 per year.. what a bargain
