hi all has any body had trouble with there air con in the bini,s. Our air con is giving us some trouble we have had it checked by an air con mech and everything looks ok.But some times it just dosen,t want to work. We have the air con light on and the recicle light on.Can anybody help befor we take the big step and take it to B.M.W.

Take it to BMW, honestly with any BM product get it done properly the first time. We dont trust out E46 3series to anybody else some of the stuff is just too specialised. Anyway it's still under warranty isnt it?? It might just need a regassing.

The BINI Shares the same motor as the PT CRUISER. All be it with somewhat smaller bores. 1.6 v. 2.0, anyway the ancilleries i would say are very similar to what the cruiser is and it has a function of when you need to go harder or go up hill it will automatically cut the compressor off(hence turning the a/c off) It will then resume when you arnt under load.
Could you be fanging it too much or doing too many hills? :wink:
