anyone in the brisbane area that has nothing to do next saturday (19th Nov) and would like to help me drop the front and rear subframes out of my deluxe i am offering free beer and the chance to spend the day with ME! (offer you cant refuse)...i've got most of the prep done so its just a matter of taking the subframe bolts out and dropping them out...PM me if yer interested...i'm in ashgrove if yer wondering...

is you'r engine in or out.

Well a case of beer for a couple of new mates and to lift the body off a Subby /engine 8)

May be also get your BBQ out :wink:

i'd probably be in this. ashgrove is only 2-3mins from me, and i could do with some lessons in subframe removal.

nah the engine's not out...dropping it out attached to the subframe...

get the radiator the batery feed earth strap brake lines clutch slave all removed b4 you drop it at variouse times i have forgotten these when droping a motor and subframe out and can make it a pain in the arse oh and the gear shift extension

yeah done all that :) i think...i was fairly careful to get it all...just need to release the main bolts and the thing should drop out...but hey! why not make a party outta it? ;)

had no $$$, and i need to save to get an auto eleccy to fix up the pos term to my battery. 'sides, had a lot of cleaning to do at home.

Lift the body off the front subby, pivoting on the back wheels, then jack it up and drop the rear.
