Despite my little fuel drama, i had a good day today. I went to a "pick a part" place in ringwood today and to my suprise there was 2 clubmans in there, so with my toolbox in hand i started on a 2 hour long part stripping frenzy. I got 4 tierod boots, a mirror, a windscreen, a rubber thing that keeps the bum of your seat up ( a squab??) , the chrome door trim that goes right the way around your door, the printed curcuit for behind clubman dials, some globes for my dials and a 75amp alternator from an excel!!! the lady behind the counter didnt know what half the stuff was so she only charged me for the windscreen and the alternator, i got all of it for 63 dollars!!!

Good luck...
We got the last one there (D4R85, manual) on Saturday- it's already in Gareth_1330's car. I put his old one (D4R83, auto) in a 1098 today. Runs real sweet too.

yea Pick 'n Payless is a great place to kill a few hours. They have a few mini's at the mo, but they are advertising them in the Tradie, so expect them to be stripped.

Yes Jim, thet 'Mighty Boy' headlining was a score.... I will get to put it in soon. Only had it for 18 months....
