Took a few hours but i've worked out that the tail lights on moo's 850 are off a morris minor, part Lucas L489. Cheapest i've found them is 20pounds from http://www.morrisminor.ukcentre.com/index_files/Page805.htm. I have found just the lenses and chrome surround on spanish ebay for approx 3pound, but everything is in spanish. I've tested both lights and the lights work so I just need 1 surround and lense, anyone know a stocker in australia for them? Can't get a roadworthy without both covered ![]() Shard |

heaps of places in australia - Morris Minor Co in melbourne... MORRIS MINOR CO OF AUSTRALIA PTY LTD IMPRTD PARTS,SPARES,REPRS & WRECKING 56 Alex Ave Moorabbin 3189 (03) 9555 1793 there are a couple of different styles of light tho, and they'd all look wierd on a mini, unless it's the panel van type... [edit] that's a front parking light in your link - that would look slightly more acceptable on the rear, check the number above. Those lights are always being thrown away because they don't incorporate indicators, Morris Minor people love mini front indicators ones cos they look similar, but have indicators in them - try offering a trade? my dad is the president of the Ballarat Morris Minor Club, can give you other contacts if you need help |

Hmm just gave him a call and wasn't very helpful. Didn't recognise L489 and he said 'no way known it's off a morris minor with chrome backing.' I might drive down there later next week so he can see it visually though.. as I'm 100% sure it's off a morris minor given that link and the photo's off morris minors i've seen with them on. You sure they don't work as indicators? I plugged in my rear indicators to test if the bulbs worked on both lights and they blinked ok... edit: ah wait I get what you mean now heh nm misunderstood.
