is that woman seriously a cooper s driver? AS IF!!! i really couldnt imagine her owning a mini.....i'm sure itd look pretty good though

ok, me and my mates had a bombodore wagon for the weekend, so we went on a road trip, and we stopped in at this town at the bottom of the great lake called something like "pelitina" (ill check that later) and we drove in, and there was a huge sign saying "RENT A MINI" with about 7 clubmans under it! about 3 vans, a few LS's and heaps of other ones, and a few wrecks... i was sooo shocked to find this in the middle of know where. but yeah, i was also cut, cause the one day i dont have my mini, and you have to be 21 to drive one.... just thought i would let you know. ill be going back for picks soon... cheers |

GETAWAY did a story on this place a while back. Catriona Rowntree (A Cooper S owner/driver) did the story and was driving a Devil Yellow Clubby!! |

A real Cooper S. She is a client of my old man. She has a Genuine Cooper S that I believe her old man restored. He also drives one. She comes from a huge Mini family. If you watch GETAWAY you will see her from time to time wearing a MINI cap.

Yes, Catriona does have a Cooper S and a Clubman S. She even made a point of saying she drives a 65 Mini on the "Great Australian Driving Test" thingy last year. 
BTW: THe town in Tas is called Poatina. |

I think Mini Car Clinic restored her Cooper S for her. I vaguely remember reading an article about her car. |

Heres an article about it, but according to this she owns a red clubbie not an S. Still pretty cool 
of course she might've changed to an S before/after this was written. |

makka Yep she was wandering around with a film crew - I ofen wondered what happened to the footage - spose it went to NSW Mini CC one night. I also thought she owned a Traveller........
