I ran my mini out of fuel again on Friday ![]() ![]() I've always liked the Explosafe fuel can because it seemed like a good idea to have a one that won't imbed shards of metal in you if a spark ignites the vapour. Until recently the name Paddy Hopkirk meant nothing to me. ![]() |

Nice find...and the explosafe foam uses only about 1% of the volume of the tank even though it fills the whole container. |

It's not foam in mine it's metal mesh as far as i can see. Perhaps the later models use foam or maybe the mesh is there to hold the foam in place. ![]() |

![]() Sorry...I was thinking mesh and wrote foam.....my brother in law used to work for the mfr....can you imagine how much mesh you need for a fuel reservoir at Kurnell...heaps ![]() |
