Remove this instument cluster, 2 bolts on the side 2 on top, then there are 3 nuts to undo, to get the top dash pad off, put your hand right up under the dash pad & you will feel them, i think you need a 3/8 socket to get them undone, once the nuts are off, the pad should easily lift off, no need to remove the screen.

I had similar probs with mine. So I took the windscreen out and cracked it in the process

but I got the dash out in the end. If you do it sitting in your car it tilts towards you....kind of.

Good luck. If you decide to take the screen out make sure you have someone there to help you. Preferably somone who knows what they're doing

Thanks for the replys folks. Well I persvered and with a little encouragement levering witha screw driver poped the LHS then the middle, then the right. I am now 3/4 into re Vinyling. Looking good at this stage. I am also shouting it a new dash made from MDF.
Should look god when I am finished.

BTW there was no way I was taking the windscreen out.

Thanks again,

Jim.

Hi JAM,
I believe that the clubbie came from Caesar originally, I bought it from a guy who bought it from Caesar and had had it only about 4 months.

Still need to find someone to do the rust work. BTW I IM you but havent bee accepted yet :( .

Thanks,

Jim.

BTW should be putting the dash back in later today, wish me luck!

Jim, I knew the owner of that Clubby before Cesar bought it. I worked with Cesar for a year, but that was ages before he bought it.

It's been around!!! :P
