I cant seem to fix the passenger side wiper wheel box in place - they are held by that big nut on the wiper squeezing it between the assymetrical spacer on the wheel box side and another plastic one on top (the wiper arm side). Now its the third plastic spacer I've split now trying to get the whole passenger side assembly firmly in place and watertight. It just seems to become loose after awhile and the plastic spacer splits at its thinnest edge. The right hand side assembly is fine and has always been sound and water tight.

I thought it might be due to the wheel box siting on the bundy tube in a slightly off position, but even loosening the bundy nuts tightening the big nut and then retightening the bundy doesnt seem to help.

These plastic spacers are Oz specific and NLA so unless the good doc begins to manufacture brass one as he intended they are a pain to find, plus water runs through there and into the cabin - any advice?
